I lead production for Terra-Plast, a student venture under Enactus TMU. We make laundry pods that actually biodegrade, using a potato-starch film instead of plastic. I run the line and built the site.

The product
Terra-Plast makes laundry detergent pods with a shell of potato starch instead of plastic. The film dissolves in the wash and leaves nothing behind. Getting a kitchen-scale process to behave like a small factory took most of the work.
My role
We run Terra-Plast as a venture under Enactus TMU, and I lead production. Standardizing the heating, drying, and sealing steps cut batch-to-batch variation and made every run come out the same. On the side I built and launched the team website to handle product communication, documentation, and outreach.
