Who I Am

I'm Ayaz, an electrical engineering student at Toronto Metropolitan University. Most of my week goes to the Haptics and Telerobotics Lab, where I co-authored a LiDAR moisture-sensing paper that got published at CSME-CFDSC-CSR 2026. The rest goes to Terra-Plast, an Enactus TMU venture where I run production.
I like building things that live between hardware and software. A glove that turns hand gestures into music. A pulse oximeter soldered from bare parts. Whatever seems worth a weekend, really. Teaching a hundred kids Python and JavaScript at Code Ninjas drilled into me how to explain hard things simply, and that habit shows up in pretty much everything I make.
